University Testing
Depending on your chosen institution and course, you may need to take an admissions test as part of your application (some joint degree courses require you to take two tests). As well as being an entry requirement, an admissions test gives you the chance to show your potential to succeed on your course.
Registrations for 2023 opens on Friday 1st September, and we ask for all applications to be in by Thursday 28th September to enable us to register everybody by the closing date. We cannot accept late applications.

Third Party Collection of Examination Results Form
If you know that you are not going to be able to collect your examination results in person then you can use the Third Party Collection Form to give permission for a friend or relative to collect them on your behalf. We cannot give results out over the telephone. |
Access to Scripts Form
If you want to see a copy of your exam script, an Access to Scripts form must be completed and signed by the candidate themselves. We cannot accept typed signatures. Before any review of marking forms are submitted, a copy of the script should be asked for. The cost for this is listed on page 2 of the form: Where the school supports your access to script request then the school will pay the associated fee. Where the school does not support your request then you will be expected to pay the fee yourself. Please discuss this with the Exams Office if you need further clarity. |

Review of Marking Form
In order for exam scripts to be checked by an examiner, you must complete a Review of Marking form. This gives permission for rechecks (have the marks for each question been added up correctly?), reviews of marking (has each question been marked appropriately) and appeals (has the exam marking process been followed correctly?) The cost for each service is listed on page 2 of the form. Again, the candidate must give permission for these services (parents/carers cannot do this on their behalf): Where the school supports your review of marking request then the school will pay the associated fee. Where the school does not support your request then you will be expected to pay the fee yourself. Successful reviews of marking will lead to a refund being given by the Exam Board. Please discuss this with the Exams Office if you need further clarity. |
