Presentation Evenings and Morning Tours for Year 7 September 2023 Entry
THE DATE OF THE FIRST PRESENTATION EVENING HAS BEEN CHANGED FROM MONDAY 19th SEPTEMBER TO TUESDAY 20th SEPTEMBER DUE THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE DATE OF THE QUEEN'S FUNERAL.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE EVENINGS AND MORNINGS ARE ONLY FOR FAMILIES WHO HAVE A SON IN YEAR 6 AND WHO WILL BE APPLYING FOR A SECONDARY SCHOOL PLACE THIS YEAR. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THE PLACE OF SOMEONE IF YOU ARE NOT A YEAR 6 PARENT.
In "pre-pandemic times", NSB would expect in excess of 3500 people to attend both the Presentation and Open Evenings which we have put on successfully for many years.
Due to the pandemic we reviewed our arrangements for prospective applicants and offered the opportunity to attend both a Presentation Evening and an Open Morning Tour. These tours during the school day were overwhelmingly welcomed by parents/carers and help to make an informed choice regarding a potential application to NSB.
Parents/carers and boys are invited to come and find out about the admissions process and hear about the school in action through booking onto one Presentation Evening (see link below). The visit will include a presentation from the Headmaster, the Chair of Governors, the Senior Deputy Headmaster and the Head Boy and Head Girl.
There is the further opportunity to book onto a tour of the school a week after this (see link below). Whilst the tour will not be able to go into individual lessons, you will still be able to get a flavour of the learning experience and outstanding facilities at NSB.
There will also be the recorded presentations made available on the school website following the Presentation Evenings.
