NSB Extra-Curricular
It's a well-worn cliché, but at NSB there really is something for everyone. Street dance, photography, learn to swim, orchestra, knitting, Star Wars club, debate, comic club... The list of clubs, practices, societies and academic support interventions goes on and on. There are over 300 provisions occurring during the week at this time. Where else are you given these great opportunities for free?
These clubs are run by members of staff and experts-in-residence every week. Some are supported by senior students with a particular interest or talent for the subject. They are a great way to get involved, meet new friends and learn new skills.
Activities take place before school, at break and lunchtimes, after school and even at weekends. These clubs are a great way for students to express themselves.
The link above will take you to a live spreadsheet, which groups clubs by day, time and year group. The spreadsheet shows which member of staff leads the club and where it occurs. Be aware, opportunities change as the year progresses, some clubs will run their course and be removed whilst other opportunities are introduced in months to come. So it is worth referencing this programme regularly.
Time to get involved!
