NSB is recognised as one of the finest State schools in the country. The opportunities and facilities for students are fantastic - we have a driven commitment to keep it that way but we do need help.
This is not an idle appeal for some extra funding - it underpins everything we do.
Our vision is to offer the best possible education to propel the students into adult life as happy, confident, motivated young people - to achieve that we offer more variety, more opportunities and more life experiences.
Schools simply do not receive more funding because they do more or are successful in many areas - to maintain and grow that success we need to continue to establish a policy of self-help.
To that end we ask parents to help us by making regular or one off contributions to our School Development Fund - whether you can afford £5 per month or £100 per month every penny goes toward enhancing the educational experience of students at the school.
In short everybody gains.
Already we have been able to support many different and varied initiatives across all walks of school life - here is a sample of how the additional funding has been spent:
New Multi Use Games area
New Laser Cutter for Design Technology
Individual IPads to support learning
Photographic equipment
State-of-the-art Strength and Conditioning equipment
Stage Blocks for Dance and Drama
Science Technology initiatives - DNA Analysis equipment
Motivational rewards in Maths
Support for the teaching of Modern Languages

We have invested thousands of pounds into improving the educational experience of students at NSB - this sets them apart and brings a real boost to their learning
If you would like to help us continue to reach for the stars then please click on the link to print off a direct debit form and return it to the school for my attention or ring me on: 07764 278505 and I will send you a prepaid envelope and form. Donors have the opportunity to gift aid their donation at no additional cost to themselves.
For example if you were comfortable to donate £20 per month by direct debit the school would receive an additional 25p in the £ bringing that single annual donation to £300 per annum.
