Year 13 Art students experience Fine Artists’ Workshop 2018

We were excited to offer the opportunity to Year 13 Art students to have a workshop with Ian Murphy where he could offer advice and support and help students develop their experimental drawing skills.
The students were challenged to work in different materials, undertaking a variety of processes and techniques to push the boundaries of contemporary drawing skills. Ian Murphy’s visit inspired many of the students to expand their drawings; developing the scale, speed and accuracy at which they work.
A fantastic experience was had by all who were involved, leaving the students inspired and enthused as they progress with their preparatory work.
