On Monday 18th June, eight students from the Honours Programme took part in Northamptonshire’s first ever Model United Nations Summit, ably organised by Northampton International Academy.
The annual Martin Travel Awards ceremony this year took place on Wednesday 9th May 2018. The Chair of Governors Mr Peter Bason welcomed the winners and their families to the presentations.
Former Student Author nominated for Branford Boase Award 2018
We are excited and proud that former pupil Mitch Johnson has been nominated for the hugely prestigious Branford Boase Award. This is the 19th year that the prize will be awarded to a first-time children’s author. Mitch is up against six other contenders for the prize.
NSB Teacher wins Prestigious Royal Society of Chemistry Award 2018
Northampton School for Boys teacher Mrs Naomi Hennah, is the Royal Society of Chemistry Schools Education Award winner for 2018. She was born in Belfast and raised in Sheffield.
The Sir Thomas White Northampton Charity can provide grants of up to £750 to young people aged over 16 and under the age of 25 who are in need of financial assistance to help them with their education or vocational training.

Local Historian visits History Club to talk about the Somme 2018
At the end of March 2018, the KS3 History Club were fortunate to be visited by Terry Whenham, a local historian, who has a wealth of knowledge about WW1 battles.
