Good luck with your results on Thursday 20th August, we hope that you get the grades you hope for. Any students with a Conditional Offer who do not upload results by 3:00pm on Thursday 20^th August, will be moved to the withdrawn status. 

If you have met the minimum and subject-specific entry requirements of your offer, please ensure that you complete and submit the enrolment form on Applicaa. As part of this process, you will need to add every GCSE subject and grade to the Education section and mark them all as “Achieved” and not "Predicted". You will also need to upload a copy of your GCSE results, which has been provided to you by your school. Please ensure that it shows your school, name, your name and result outcomes clearly. All of this must be completed on Applicaa by 3:00pm on Thursday 20^th August so that we can process your enrolment and confirm your place.

If you have not met the minimum or subject-specific entry requirements of your conditional offer but would like to be considered for an alternative course or combination of courses, please submit the enrolment form by 3:00pm on Thursday 20^th August, selecting your preferred alternative courses. As part of this process, you will need to add every GCSE subject and grade to the Education section and mark them all as “Achieved” and not "Predicted". You will also need to upload a copy of your GCSE results, which has been provided to you by your school.  Please ensure that it shows your school, your name and result outcomes clearly. All of this must be completed on Applicaa by 3:00pm on Thursday 20^th August. We will then place you on the waiting list for your new subject combination.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU BRING YOUR RESULTS INTO NSB BY HAND.

We will run our random selection process from the waiting list by Tuesday 25^th August 2026 in line with our Admissions Policy, and will inform all students through Applicaa.  Any further places that become available after GCSE results day will be allocated as promptly as we can, so do not give up if you do not get a place in the next round of offers.  This may happen across or after the Bank Holiday weekend, so please be patient and do not message us to find out if it has been run.  You will receive a message via Applicaa whether you are successful or not to indicate that the Waiting List has been run. 

If you will be away on holiday when the grades are released, I would strongly advise you make arrangements for someone else to act on your behalf to ensure that your grades are uploaded by 3:00pm on Thursday 20^th August, otherwise your conditional offer will be withdrawn.

Right to Appeal

If you are unsuccessful in gaining a place at the school, and you have not done so already, you have the right to appeal the non-allocation of a place.  Should you decide to appeal, our Notice of Appeal can be found on the Admissions page of our website.  Please send your completed Notice of Appeal to Sixth Form Admissions Officer, Northampton School for Boys, Billing Road, Northampton, NN1 5RT.
