Headmaster's Bulletin 11th January 2019

Following our recent Teaching Training Inspection, I'm delighted to be able to forward to you the link to our recently published Ofsted report in which we have been graded as outstanding in each of the four judgements - outcomes for trainees, the quality of training, the quality of leadership and management and overall effectiveness. The glowing report is testament to the excellent work across the whole of our teacher training partnership in helping to secure a strong teaching workforce for the future: Please Click Here

NSB had a highly positive mention in the Times newspaper today from the Schools Minister for our outstanding work in the Expressive Arts being supportive of our excellent academic outcomes. Please Click Here

We have a hugely exciting event in the Cripps Hall Theatre approaching on Sunday January 27th, when we will be privileged to host the world-renowned BBC Big Band at our Jazz@The Cripps New Year Spectacular. Tickets are selling understandably quickly but there are still a few remaining - please contact the Box Office for information.

Congratulations to the U12 and U13 football teams who booked their places in the last 16 of their respective National Cups this week and we look forward to a block-busting week of National Cup sporting fixtures next week. Two of the biggest games will be for Year 10 who will be taking on Queens' School, Watford in the football National Cup, quarter final on Tuesday and The Perse School, Cambridge in the last 16 of the U15 National Cup for rugby on Thursday.
