Headmaster's Bulletin 30th November 2018

Our Key Stage 4/5 Drama Production of Twelfth Night was hugely impressive on Thursday. All of the thespians carried off the Shakespearian comedy with outstanding levels of delivery and timing and we look forward to another strong showing this evening, with tickets still available from the Box Office.

Our Year 11 and 13 students are gearing their attention to the Trial Examinations which begin straight after the Christmas holidays. The Sixth Formers are also now starting to hear back from Universities with current highlights including 13 offers from leading Music conservatoires to date and no fewer than 15 students achieving an Oxbridge interview.

Many congratulations to James Bushell (Year 12) who has been selected to represent England at Water Polo in an international tournament in December and also to former student Jacob Round, who at the age of just 18 has been selected for the full senior Great Britain Basketball team. It is no surprise that Jacob won the NSB Sportsman of the Year award for an unprecedented two years in succession during his time here!

Next week brings a range of exciting events, including the U15 rugby team seeking to make the regional final of the National Cup in a home tie against Loughborough Grammar School on Tuesday (3.45pm) kick off and our hugely popular Christmas Concerts on Wednesday and Thursday evening: Please Click Here
